the round of it

Our unit on shapes started with a circle.

We looked at a circle flashcard and talked about circles being round without any points.

Then we went on a circle search! As we looked around spotting circles we said this little chant:

I spy a circle looking at me.

There is a circle as round as can be!

Little Miss was very enthusiastic during our circle hunt. She was really thrilled that all of our doorknobs are circles.

I created a worksheet to help Little Miss learn how to draw circles. She loved "tracing" each circle.

Little Miss made a circle print painting. We used two different sizes of paper cups.

Then we finished off the day with a circle snack.
