A couple weeks ago I started "school" with Little Miss.
Expectations were set (pockets on the floor, legs and arms folded, etc.)
We had a mini circle time and looked out the window and sang our weather song (I will post that later).
She was so excited to have her own school time while daddy was at school.
I read her the book I Like Myself! by Karen Beaumont.
We checked ourselves out in the mirror noting eye and hair color specifically.
Then I traced Little Miss on a piece of butcher paper. She had me draw the stripes on her dress and her individual fingernails. She loved to color her fingernails red since we recently painted them red.
{Excitement is in the details!}
Then she colored clip art of facial features and glued them on the large "self portrait."
The next day we talked about our family.
Little Miss colored pictures of each member of the family. Actually, she just colored their mouths. We now all have orange mouths.
I had a fabulous idea to have Little Miss dress up like each family member. I thought she'd LOVE the idea since dress up is her #1 hobby. Well, she didn't get the hang of it. She just held props for her person.
Here she is being Baby Sis, snugglin' a doggy.
Here she is as herself, spunky as ever.
Being Dad. She nailed this one.
And being me. Not sure why "I'm" holding the creepy old woman puppet. But the expression is sweet.
Coming Soon....SHAPES!
hahahahahah!!! Her "dressing up" as Clark made me laugh so hard!
