Triangles

School time isn't always at the same "time" every day due to Baby Sis and her eating/sleeping schedule. So, Triangle Tuesday started after snack time instead of before.

 Little Miss was excited to eat triangular shaped crackers (Triscuits are a real treat in our house :)  We investigated the three sides on all of the crackers (I made sure that she didn't have any broken crackers so she would have a true triangle every time)

After snack we watched this video about triangles.

 

Little Miss surprised me by making a triangle out of her hands.

I gave Little Miss items that she could use to make her own triangles.

Paintbrushes.

Q-tips.

Bobby pins.

I had her trace the outline of a triangle.

We then had fun with paint and masking tape. I put masking tape on the construction paper before Little Miss started to paint and once the painting was dry, peeled it off revealing a perfect triangle.
